Project Description
Developed, Summer 2020
Allie AI/VR is a virtual experience guided by an augmented intelligence (AI) bot named Allie, who provides prospective UF students interested in Digital Arts and Sciences with a solid framework of what to expect in the major. Allie takes advantage of the IBM Watson API to answer student questions through a voice control / chat system within the game. Allie serves as the personal guide and advisor throughout the playable environments/spaces created for the demo. The demo is intended to teach future DAS students the type of work and example projects students can learn to create in the different focus areas of Game development & design, UI/UX or interaction design, and video production & animation.

Breakdown
As the Project Manager, my main focus was managing the team and meeting with the client to gauge the scope of the project and how we could accomplish their needs. This was a very ambitious and open-ended project, so I was responsible for leading the vision of the project and what features we would implement.
Apart from my project management responsibilities I was the sound designer and also contributed to the design team responsibilities of the project. This included UI/UX, level design and layouts, as well as gameplay features and mechanics.
